Kabul, April 3, 2025 – The Chief Executive Officer of the National Development Corporation (NDC), Abdul Rahman Attash, extended Eid greetings to employees during a gathering held in the NDC conference hall. In his speech, he outlined the organization’s vision, mission, achievements, future plans, and ongoing reforms.

Attash provided insights into the objectives, values, and long-term strategy of the NDC, emphasizing the National Corporation commitment to national economic growth, infrastructure development, and the implementation of public projects. He highlighted the NDC’s efforts to facilitate sustainable and fundamental development projects across the country.

He also acknowledged the dedication of the NDC employees, stating that every achievement of the NDC is a direct result of their commitment and hard work. He pointed out various development projects that have been completed through the company’s efforts, while some are still under implementation, and major national programs are set to begin in the near future.

The CEO stressed the importance of professional development for employees, ensuring they enhance their skills within their respective fields and contribute more effectively to the organization. He called for a culture of innovation, creativity, and accountability, urging employees to find solutions through innovation and fulfill their responsibilities with integrity, as their work carries the hopes and aspirations of millions of citizens.

Meanwhile, the Deputy for Finance and Administration of the NDC, Mawlawi Abdul Wali Adel, also spoke at the event, addressing administrative reforms, work efficiency, coordination, and the importance of teamwork. He noted that the company’s effectiveness stems from its commitment to transparency, accountability, and adherence to standard professional practices.

Announcement for the Sale of Ghori Cement through Auction

‏The National Development Corporation intends to sell 210,000 tons of cement produced by the Ghori Cement Factory for the year 1404 through an auction.

‏Those who wish to participate in the auction process can obtain the terms and conditions for the sale of cement in hard copy from the central office of the NDC, located in the Qasaba area of District 15, Kabul.‏Participants must submit their offers to the Public Relations Department of the NDC by Saturday, 25th of Hoot, 1403 (March 16, 2024). ‏Late and online submissions will not be accepted.

‏The auction meeting will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM, on 25th of Hoot, 1403 (March 16, 2024), in the meeting hall of the NDC.

High-Level Delegation from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Visits Qosh Tepa Canal Project

Wednesday 19th, Feb, 2025 A senior delegation from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, headed by the Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, Mawlawi Attaullah Omari, traveled to the northern provinces to assess the current state and progress of the Qosh Tepa Canal.

During the visit, the delegation met with Abdul Rahman Atash, the CEO of the National Development Corporation.

The delegation toured various sections of the Qosh Tepa Canal and expressed their satisfaction with the ongoing efforts in the region. They also extended their gratitude to the National Development Corporation for its relentless work and reaffirmed their commitment to providing full cooperation.

Moreover, the delegation underscored the importance of enhanced coordination and collaborative efforts among the relevant institutions, emphasizing that this project aligns with the strategic objectives of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, particularly in the fields of water management and economic development.

This committee was established some time ago by the Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office to foster greater coordination among the relevant agencies concerning the Qosh Tepa Canal. The committee is led by Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, the Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, and includes Mawlawi Abdul Karim Fatah, Technical Deputy of the Ministry of Public Works, Mawlawi Mahmood Mazloom, Director General of Land Affairs, Mohammad Noman, Director of Water Regulation at the Ministry of Water and Energy, Shamsur Rahman, Director of Infrastructure and Economic Affairs at the Administrative Office, as well as several other technical experts.
